Regatta Administration

Supports common administration issues:

Results Features

• A schedule of events and results by event are available and can easily be printed (pdf format). Print a viewbook with all results from a race.
• Results are aware of progression style for unique head to sprint style races.
• Progression results support a bracket style format. (ie Basketball’s March Madness) allowing spectators to easily see how a boat progressed from heats to finals.
• Results support split timing which provide spectator friendly information. Splits show progress of rowers as they move down the course.
• Results are published and can be promoted from entry to verified to official status by regatta staff.
• Status changes automatically on schedule list when event begins.
• Results show the status of a racer if they are scratched, Did Not Start, Did Not Finish, are excluded, or are disqualified.
  

Timing Features

Supports common operational issues:

• Timing devices can be configured to use an internet connection for real-time results or can store times on a local computer for later upload to the web.
• Supports running test (diagnostic) events to verify timing devices working properly.
• Extensive FinishLynx support to generates FinishLynx event files.
• Supports Real-time FinishLynx results distribution or importing of FinishLynx files (ie sprint races).
• Manual times taken through a stopwatch can be easily inputted in to the system.
• Includes judging/penalties whcih tie in directly with timing and results.

Real Time System

• PowerHouse client software integrates directly with the Finishlynx camera allowing the software to submit times directly to the Results platform.

Multiple Timing Systems

• System has built-in reports to show differences between timing systems.
  o Calculates results differences and quantified when used with 3 or more timing systems
• Supports up to 4 independent timing systems, which can be any PowerHouse Timing supported device
  o FinishLynx, PHT Timing Station Program, Manual Timing.

Split Timing

• An unlimited number of split stations can be utilized with the system. Most regattas support up to 5 split stations for head races and 3 for sprint races.
